Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Basic Operation on WWTP

Waste Water Treatment Plant house the process equipment and process monitoring and controlling devices.
Discharge water from all process vessel must be treated before discharge into sea or river flow.
Liquid from opendrain,cloe drain enter the series of sump pit and channelled into CDF(Collective Drain Facilities).Water from CDF pumped out into CPI(Corrugated Plate Interceptor) and from CPI the waste water from all process area will goes into EQ Sump as a basin for Water Treatment Plant feed raw water to be process.Waste water must be keep undisturbed for settling 24 Hrs before pump into pH Adjustment tank.

EQ Sump.

From the EQ sump ,waste water will be pumped into PH Adjustment tank where a solution of liquid Lime and Na2S will injected first to stabilized Ph of Waste Water to 5-8 Ph reading.Here three serial proces stabilized tank will included from Ph Adjustment Tank,Cogulanation Tank where Aluminium Chloride(PAC) injected to remove Boron and heavy metal ion..then next process tank Flocculation Tank ,Polymer injected into this tank to speed up flocculation process.

The next stabilized water will goes into DAF Revocell tank where an amount of instrument air pressure injected into DAF to help particle accumulated float and been removed by moving scoop into Sludge thickener .The wasted sludge were pump intoFilter Press machine. The sludge enter the series of Filter to remove any liquid and form solid sludge.Solid sludge or Sludge cake sent to Kualiti Alam for disposal.

DAF- Revocell-6.

DaF Clarifier will remove micron SS of emulsification oil.
Process water then flow by gravity enter second Chemical treatment tank . Cyanide Reaction Tank and Neutralization Tank NaOCl Sodiom Hypochloride injected to remove Cyanide. Neutralization Tank where Sulfuric Asid and Sodium Sulphate injected to remove any Chlorine and hydrochloride content inside process water before entering final Biological process inside SBR Tank.

Process water then enter into SBR Tank (Sequential Batch Reactor) in this final process tank where Biological process taken places. Here a type of Bacteria will remove any left hydrocarbon from process water before discharge into Final Discharge Tank.Then treated water will discharge into Discharge Channel ant into River stream and finally into our open sea.Allowable limit standard must not higher then 200 mg/l of CoD and pH of discharge water must around 7-8 pH.
